Jigsaw was used to create the study notes below for Xian's Yellow River Piano Concerto. Groups were assigned different sections of the Preface to the Eulenberg edition of the score. One student typed notes displayed on the projector screen while the groups shared out. The jigsaw strategy helped the class to thoroughly process the reading and create a study sheet in about 30 minutes.
